Very few restaurants in Mumbai offer crafted beer, and Independence Brewing Company is undoubtedly at the top of the list! We visited IBC for a relaxing Saturday lunch and were thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the concept of sampling a variety of crafted beers before selecting our favorites. After tasting over more than 10 different beers, we settled on King Jovial, a mango-based beer that we absolutely loved. They currently feature a Hoagie menu, so we decided to try some sandwiches from it. We ordered the paneer tikka, corn and spinach, and classic cheese and jalapeño sandwiches. The smoky flavor of the paneer tikka was so delightful that it was devoured in no time. Absolutely delicious! The khola chilli dumplings were tasty, especially when paired with the mint mayonnaise dip. Overall, we loved the place—the staff was helpful, the space was expansive, and the ambiance was vibrant. It’s a great spot for hanging out.
