1/5 — Extremely disappointing experience at The Irish House, Andheri We visited The Irish House, Andheri last night after being unable to get a table at Doolally. We were already a bit frustrated, but things went from bad to worse here. First, we saw their OctoBeer Fest menu offering a 3-litre beer pitcher for ₹1475, which seemed like a good deal compared to the regular menu. However, when we tried to order it, the waiter said the beer was “finished” and only pint bottles were available. Having no other option, we ordered pints. A few minutes later, we noticed the bartender pouring tap beer for other guests — clearly contradicting what we were told. When we questioned this, the waiter shrugged it off and told us to “ask the bartender.” On confronting the bartender, he confirmed that the beer was available. The waiter then started arguing and making false excuses, trying to cover up his lie. To make matters worse, we actually saw the bartender pour leftover beer from someone’s half-filled glass into a pitcher, which was absolutely shocking and unhygienic. Finally, when the bill arrived, they had added charges for the pints we had returned and even applied service tax on both food and drinks. When we asked to correct it, the waiter’s attitude changed completely — rude and dismissive. Overall, a terrible experience — from misinformation and unprofessional staff behavior to questionable hygiene practices. Would definitely not recommend this outlet to anyone expecting honesty or basic service standards. Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
