FIRST GUESTS....Saturday, .28th November 2015 ....A Wedding Reception. I must say, I am glad I chose IVY Restaurant and Banquets for the Wedding Reception of my daughter Rohini, held on 28th November 2015. The IVY team certainly made it a memorable event for our families. I first came across IVY in April 2008. I wanted to take my youngest daughter out for lunch, and just happened to step in. There was nothing flashy about IVY, just a cosy ambience, unobtrusive service -- and lip smacking good food. Slowly, IVY became a restaurant we frequented over the years and a favourite family haunt for special occasions. Since I was familiar with IVY Banquet arrangements and the lovely banquet hall, obviously it was my first choice when looking for a venue to host (my second daughter) Rohini & Shobhan's Wedding Reception. True to our expectations, the arrangements on the evening of the Reception were splendid. The terrace area where the food was laid out, glittered with fairy lights while the hall itself looked stately and elegant with its many chandeliers. Also as expected, the dinner had been cooked to perfection. Our guests simply couldn't stop raving about it! Kerala Mutton and Meen Gassi with Neer Dosa, Onion Pulao, a novelty, Tiramisu in small glass cups, the variety of salads, starters and drinks served were all great hits with our guests. It was a relief and a pleasure to find that everything we had discussed on paper with Mr.Watson and Ms. Prescilla had been translated into such a lovely reality by the IVY team. In fact every aspect discussed was executed to such perfection by his team, we simply walked in as the 'FIRST GUESTS'..... Mr. Watson and his team at IVY helped create a fitting setting for an evening of such importance to our family; one that will stay in our hearts for a long time to come.
