Fantastic world class fine dining in a beautiful, bright and modern setting. Avartana offers a selection of set menus (and à la carte) catering to all kinds of diets. The ambiance is lively and unpretentious despite the delicious edible art being made in the kitchen. The food is overall thoughtfully prepared, a very interesting experience. I got the 9 course meal and it's quite filling at 2,200 calories (a whole days intake equivalent). There’s a great deal of creativity involved in the preparation plus the staff (Niyas and Lucky) are very courteous. The price (Rs. 3,500) is what it is, it definitely leans on the expensive side but quality for a one-off is good. Pictured is their delicious fennel pana cotta. Pro tip: the rasam is really good and can ask for another round. One major disappointment for which I removed a point - the supposedly craft cocktail was dilute. Almost like drinking fruit juice which somewhat ruined the overall experience especially considering that it was priced at Rs. 1,250.
