I’ve been to Idli many times and always liked their food, but yesterday’s experience was absolutely horrible. The staff had zero sense and treated customers like they didn’t matter at all. They were about to start mopping but, for some reason, turned the fan on full speed before even beginning. The weather was already cool, and my food—hot coffee and dosa—was getting cold. I asked them to switch it off, but they flat-out refused because apparently, drying the floor was more important than a paying customer. After making my food cold, they finally started mopping. And here’s the best part—the idiot cleaner started mopping under my table while I was eating. His dirty mop touched my Crocs and made them wet. Disgusting and unacceptable. The staff was clueless, behaving like robots with no common sense. Clearly, the owner or manager (if he was even there) is just as brainless, because if the leadership is this bad, what can we expect from the staff? I’m still giving this place 3 stars just because their South Indian food is very authentic. Otherwise, it doesn’t even deserve one.
