You will be offered such food as good prawn masala, chicken biryani and chicken, don't hesitate to try them. Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. The cheerful staff is the only thing that can spoil your evening at Hotel Mahalekshmi. Nice service is something visitors agree upon here. As many reviewers affirm, moderate prices are not the best side of this place. A lot of guests mark that the atmosphere is pretty here. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

One of the oldest and longest serving hotels in Kollam. Had been a frequent customer of this hotel right from my childhood. Updating this review because one of my friends who was new to kollam for some work in the Collectorate asked for a hotel to dine in around the premises. Hotel Mahalekshmi being a safe bet was suggested to him. As usual they kept their good name, for which my friend reverted back his good experience. They serve good sea food, namely prawns, squid and fish. Beef fry is a must try over there. Might find it a bit expensive but out for a dinner with your family this place is highly suggested. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
