If you feel the old world charm of Bangalore in the eighties, then Janardhana is the place for you. The place is a no frills establishment, which is in sync with the character of those times. I had the thali, which was served on a plantain leaf, and it was spectacular. Do come with a good appetite because the quantities are more than generous. The brinjal palya, sambar and rasam were stupendous. The badam halwa was to die for. The service by the super friendly staff made us feel right at home. Will surely visit again.
