We visited around 10:30 PM, and this was one of the few spots open late in Kudal. Tried Chicken Brownie, Prawns Fry, Chicken Thali, and Chana Masala Fry Thali. Chicken Thali was average, but the rest — especially the Chanak fish thali — was delicious. Service was quick and polite, and they were honest about seafood freshness (only prawns and chanak were fresh that night). Absolutely terrible experience at Hillroof Restaurant. We went here expecting a decent meal, but what we got was uncooked, unhygienic food that led to severe food poisoning and vomiting shortly after eating. The food was half-cooked, tasted off, and clearly not prepared with any basic quality standards. This place is a serious health hazard. If you care about your well-being, stay far away from Hillroof. Totally irresponsible kitchen staff and no accountability from the management either. Would give zero stars if possible. Never coming back.

I tried Chanak Thali; it was best. Hotel Hill Roof Kudal offers the best Malvani and Konkani cuisine with outstanding seafood dishes. The flavors are authentic, and the quality is top-notch. A must-visit for anyone craving delicious coastal delicacies in a welcoming atmosphere. Best place experience.
