Authentic Konkan Breakfast Experience at Hotel Sugran, Kudal. Hotel Sugran, located near the Kudal Police Station on the main road, is an excellent place to enjoy traditional Konkan breakfast. If you are visiting Kudal and looking for simple, homely, and authentic food, this place should definitely be on your list. We tried cut vada, amboli with chutney, amboli usal, and batata bhaji. Every item was freshly prepared and full of authentic local flavours. The real highlight of our visit was the amboli and chutney. The chutney was absolutely outstanding — fresh, well-balanced, and truly the best part of the meal. Amboli paired with this chutney tastes amazing and reflects true Konkan cuisine. The batata bhaji was also very tasty, crispy, and perfectly spiced. One more special mention is their Amboli Chicken, which is also available here. It’s a great option for non-vegetarian food lovers and perfectly complements the soft amboli with rich, flavourful chicken curry. Hotel Sugran also serves shirvale and ghavane, which are popular local breakfast dishes. However, for these items, it is recommended to visit early in the morning and call the hotel in advance so they can prepare them fresh for you. The location is convenient, the food quality is excellent, and the overall experience feels warm and satisfying.
