This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Guests are treated according to the staff’s personal likes and dislikes, which is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional in the hospitality industry. The staff behavior showed complete lack of respect for customers. Basic hospitality etiquette was missing. While the hotel may be known for its food, but good food alone cannot justify unfair treatment, and indifferent service. The management fails to maintain standards or care about customer experience. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this hotel if they expect fair treatment and basic courtesy

Last night my wife, daughter and I visited the new "Hemant Snacks" a fish thali restaurant at Odessa Boutique offices in Ambika Nagar, Wagle Estate. For a long we were ardent fans of its earlier avatar at Louiswadi. The older eatery was small, usually crowded but manned by friendly staff. The food was great and came with lighting speed and a smile. We always went away delighted. That’s why our visit to the new Hemant Snacks was a shock. This was a much bigger hall with approx. 15 tables. When we entered there were only 3 tables occupied. Ten minutes after placing the order we were still waiting. In the meanwhile, practically half the tables got occupied. On enquiring, one of the waiters said, the fish is being prepared with masala etc. Five minutes later, it appeared that it will take longer, so we asked the one of the nearby staff to send the waiter so we can order something else while we waited. The waited or no one appeared or bothered. Again after 5 minutes we asked another staff to send the waiter so we could place the order. He went away and stood at the entrance of the hall and it appeared he didn’t speak with any one. No one appeared. In the meanwhile several other customers who entered much after us were being served with the same fish thalis we had ordered. Finally, the waiter appeared and we asked him to bring 3 pappads while we wait. By then we who entered the restaurant the earlier and spent over 30 minutes waiting were not served. Many others were who came later were served. I raised it with the person at the counter. He had nothing to offer except a smile. He didn’t even make an attempt to ask his staff what happened. My diagnosis, Hemant Snacks has changed their staff. They seem to be Hindi speaking not Marathi staff who were not trained enough about order queuing, attention to customer, trouble shooting etc. Their body language gave the impression they were distant, unengaged and just couldn’t care. By then we had lost all interest in the food. I didn’t want to patronize a place which didn’t care for its customers. We paid for what we were served and left without completing our dinner. Hemant Snacks is now a sad place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400

We ordered chicken thali the food was ok rice quantity was too little the service was not good at all. For the type of food it was priced more but maybe since there are not many restaurants around that particular area the place is hyped too much. .
