We were seated and had ordered our drinks when a waiter came and asked us to change tables, saying we could sit at another one. There was no “reserved” sign on the table, so it was ridiculous that we had to move while having our drinks and food.

Samudra Hotel in Thane has been a go-to spot for my family and me for the past 10 years whenever we craved Konkani flavors in Louiswadi. Over the years, I’ve noticed the interiors evolving, adding a fresh touch to the place. On my recent visit, I tried their food again and was surprised to find the chicken dishes feeling somewhat average this time. However, the service remains consistently good. On the staff’s recommendation, we ordered their special kebab i forgot the name , which turned out to be excellent. Seafood lovers can still count on this place for its delightful offerings—it remains a solid choice for authentic flavors.
