Absolutely pathetic experience at Gee Bee Palace. We had booked 3 rooms for a marriage function, with one additional room to be used only at night. Despite having our booking, the manager Mahesh rudely refused to accommodate us when we arrived. His excuse was that we were not staying the next day and that “guests are not allowed.” Now, we can completely understand if this is part of the hotel’s policy — and we were ready to accept it if explained properly. But the way it was said was utterly unprofessional and insulting. Instead of handling the matter politely, Mahesh gave an offensive reason by saying it was “because of your age.” All of us are 27+, grown adults, and for a manager of a so-called 3-star hotel to make such a remark is disgraceful. Such behavior reflects extremely poorly on the training, service, and professionalism of the staff, especially the managers. If this is how they treat paying customers, it raises serious doubts about the quality of service and management standards of this hotel. The management must take strict and immediate action against Mahesh and ensure their staff are properly trained to treat guests with respect. Otherwise, the hotel’s reputation will only continue to deteriorate. I would strongly warn others to think twice before booking here – because if this is how the managers behave, you cannot expect a comfortable or dignified stay.
