DISGUSTING, UNETHICAL & PATHETIC SERVICE – STAY AWAY-Worst Hotel Experience Ever Hotel Devlok Regency is one of the most irresponsible and dishonest hotels I have ever encountered. We booked this hotel one month in advance and paid the full amount online, yet on arrival we were bluntly told that they “do not take responsibility for online bookings.” This is nothing short of a scam. Despite having a confirmed booking and payment proof, the staff refused to honor our reservation, claiming there were no rooms available. This was during peak season, and still they had the audacity to wash their hands off the situation. Absolutely zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero shame. The worst part? We were travelling with small kids, and this happened late at night. Instead of helping a family in distress, the hotel staff behaved cold, arrogant, and indifferent. No apology, no alternate arrangement, no assistance—just complete neglect. We were forced to wander around at midnight with children, desperately searching for another hotel. It was unsafe, exhausting, and mentally traumatic. This hotel clearly takes advance payments without honoring bookings, which is outright unethical and possibly fraudulent. If they are incapable of managing online reservations, they should be removed from all booking platforms immediately. Let me be very clear: They take your money but don’t give you a room They don’t care if you have kids They don’t help when things go wrong They ruin your trip without remorse This experience was humiliating, stressful, and unacceptable. We booked this hotel one full month in advance via Goibibo and reached the property late at night with kids, only to be flatly denied entry. The hotel staff/owner claimed that the payment was sent to the old owner and not the current one, and therefore they would not allow us to stay. The owner’s behavior was extremely rude, arrogant, and completely inhuman. No help, no alternative arrangement, no empathy—nothing. This experience ruined our trip and shook our trust in both the hotel and the platform. Absolutely horrible experience. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability.
