I have been a frequent visitor of Hoot for 6 years or so. Having witnessed this place have a pond, shut down in COVID to restart again with the same ambience, the one thing that definitely hasn't changed here is the top notch music quality. The food was amazing and so was the service. The ambience can give you a high at another level. Having visited this place alone, as a couple, with friends and with family, it is definitely a place for everyone. P.S. Lovedddd the Mango Hoot punch!

Today, we had an unfortunate experience at Hoot Cafe & Brewery. My friend chose the venue to celebrate his birthday, and we were a group of four, including three pure vegetarians, among whom my wife is a Brahmin, while I am a non-vegetarian. Upon arriving, we received a warm welcome at the restaurant. We ordered a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items for our meal. Towards the end, we specifically requested Veg Nachos, as mentioned on the invoice. The waiter served us the Veg Nachos, but upon closer inspection, it seemed to be garnished with chicken pieces. To clarify, we checked with two other waiters, both of whom confirmed that the Nachos were entirely vegetarian. Later, my friend realized that the Nachos indeed contained chicken pieces. We called the waiter back, who seemed confused initially but later confirmed that we had been served Non Veg Nachos. Shockingly, three of my vegetarian friends, including my Brahmin wife, had consumed them. When presented with the bill, they removed the Nachos from the total cost, attempting to brush off the blunder. We were asked to pay for the rest of the items. Although they apologized for their mistake after we pointed it out, we believe such errors should not occur in the first place. It highlights the poor training and evasiveness of the staff when confronted with their mistakes. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place due to such unprofessional behavior. While we are aware of our rights as consumers and could take this matter to the consumer court, we are ordinary service class individuals and prefer not to get entangled in legal proceedings. I have attached the invoice and parking tickets from today. I would appreciate hearing from the owner of this establishment to discuss this issue further.
