A Family Day Out Turned Into a Lesson on “Selective Hospitality” Visited Greens Restaurant on Sunday around 4:20 PM for a nice family lunch, expecting good food and warm service. Well, guess what? We got neither. The Food Journey: • Hara Bhara Kabab – A masterpiece in how not to make kababs. • Veg Cutlet, Jain Paneer Chilly, Tomato Chilla – Surprisingly good, almost made us forget the service (almost). • Paper Sada Dosa, Jain Pav Bhaji, Lassi – As average as it gets. Nothing memorable. • Sizzling Brownie – Looked promising, tasted okayish. But the real star of the show? Sachin (assuming that’s his name), the man who single-handedly ensured we felt like we were intruding in his restaurant. His warm welcome? A cold stare. His enthusiasm? Non-existent. His customer service? Well, let’s just say, unless you’re a group of 10 people, don’t expect much. Watching him eagerly serve the bigger table while treating us like an afterthought was truly inspiring. ₹2,000 for a late lunch where the service killed the appetite—absolutely worth it, right? Sharing my bill photo just in case someone thinks this is made up. Hoping the management notices, but hey, maybe only large groups are worth their attention.
