After visiting Union Church, you can look over the menu at this restaurant. Chinese and Indian food is nice at this place. Cooks at The Green Vegetarian do their best to provide guests with good chole bhature, dal makhani and paneer. You will hardly forget great lassi, tea or coffee that you can degust.

Ruskin Bond has always been passionate about food. He loves binging on chocolates, golgappas, cutlets and curry puffs. In an interview some years earlier, he talked about his "addiction" of chaat at the shop near the clock tower in Dehradun. He recalled an unsuccessful attempt to register himself in the Limca Book of Records despite having gorged on as many as 32 aloo tikkis! The restaurant is located right on the mall road from where the Camel back road starts. They serve typical North Indian fare including Tikki chaat, Chole bhature, puri subzi, kachori, samosa and stuffed paratha. Good place to have a typical North Indian stuff.
