Report incorrect information
I tried a bunch of things and I loved their chocolate cake (best I have had in town), their chicken and cheese sandwich (best I have had in town), their lemon drizzle cake and apple pie were really good too, but I didn't quite like the carrot cake, if you can only try two things from Malgudi Cafe, without a second thought go for the chocolate cake and the chicken and cheese sandwich ????????
The cafe has nothing to do with R.K. Narayan's celebrated creation- Malgudi except for the name. The menu is nothing great to talk about. The coffee served is mix of chicory. The only positive thing about this cafe is its nice ambiance. The cafe other wise is over hyped in social media but for us it was a huge disappointment. There are many other nicer cafes in Mysore and definitely better places for a nice cup of coffee.
