Gopi Guest House is just 200 meters from Virupaksha Temple. Rooms are clean. Service is very good. Food is tasty and healthy, too. Mr.Ravi was very helpful and a good guide too. He helped us with transportation, places to choose and also with pickup-drop to the bus stand. We were only ladies and we felt very safe every minute. Will surely recommend this guest house to everyone. Service: 5

Very central but I don't like AC and the non AC rooms are very basic with no toilet paper (i have been told by the staff to buy It) nor towel. I understand it is a good value accomodation and that in India people do not necessarily use toilet paper but found it a bit extreme and not very customer oriented to tell me to buy it given that toilet paper is only a few rupees. Same not to provide a towel considering that washing a towel is also very inexpensive. As a consequence I was not inclined to use any other service such as the restaurant. The first night was also extremely noisy but the second was ok. Service: 2

It's costly for what it offers. But the USP of this place is it's location - Virupaksha temple is hardly 200m and even river-bank is. Hampi bazaar is very close. There are variety of food-options - continental, western, north/south Indian etc. Many foreigners also stay here. People are very friendly and helpful, especially their auto-driver Pampa. He helped us travel places around and also took care of what we needed. We had a fantastic conversation with him during 3 days period. Highly recommending to hire him if you need auto. Very humble and down-to - earth person. Service: 5
