The food fell short of expectations despite the staff's hype and positive reviews, with the taste failing to impress. Although the service was good, it couldn't make up for the lackluster flavors. The Figs and Cinnamon pancake was particularly disappointing, as it consisted of only four small pancakes overwhelmed by an unexpected abundance of vanilla ice cream, which was not disclosed on the menu. Nourriture fantastique!!!!! Golden Dragon never ever disappoints me. Ever !!!! They know what the customer likes and expects. They are always on top of their business. They also know their food and what they dish out simply have their customers eating out of thier hands. I was a regular till 3 years back and there was a gap . Today I went back to mama !! Wow!! The warmth is still warm. They still remember me and took a lot of effort to ensure that I will be back soon. The interior was a little different but the spirit remains intact . The Golden Dragon offers a vast and assorted menu featuring a delightful mix of Sichuan and Cantonese flavours and what an exquisite experience was it for my palate. This is one of the best fine-dining Chinese restaurant in Chennai. I have ordered a Golden Dragon Chicken with cashews, garlic and fresh red chilly and Don Bok Kai along with Hunan fried rice and Char Kway Teow (flat noodles) all the 4 dishes were simply outstanding but Char Kway Teow blew my mind. There is nothing I could complain . The service was top notch and the ambience was perfect. The air-conditioning was great. The lighting was perfect. They gave me no room to even search for an issue. It was a perfect day to finish my lunch and carry on my love affair with this lovely restaurant. I must give them a perfect 5/5. I LOVE YOU GOLDEN DRAGON !!!!!! Vegetarian options: There is a lot of options on the menu for pure vegetarian and vegans. Parking: The Taj has a big parking space so getting a spot is no deal. The valet service also helps . Kid-friendliness: The place is big and spacious and the service people are perfect professionals that they can ensure that the kids love the place.
