We were very hungry on the way back to Panaji so stopped for dinner at this roadside restaurant. We ordered chicken crispy, chicken lollipop some french fries and chicken stroganoff. The dishes were fantastic and reasonable with a good quantity of food.
Great little joint with tasty Goan food. The ambience is simple, like a roadside dhaba, but the food is deceptively good. The Chicken Xacuti was spiced to perfection (I had tears in my eyes by the end of the meal), and the Fried Prawns were juicy and crunchy. The Special Fish Curry Rice meal plate is a good serving portion for one person. I also immensely enjoyed the tissoreo (clams). Would recommend skipping the caramel pudding, which was loaded with way too much sugar.
Goan spice is a simple restaurant on the highway. Really conviently located and easy to find. Good parking space. The ambience is very basic but u get simple and tasty goan food. Local crowd mostly , drinks are cheap here , service can get a bit slow .
