We had one of the worst experiences here. We were a group of five and walked into the shop at around 9:20 PM, well before the closing time of 10 PM. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude and showed no patience, refusing to let us sample even a couple of flavours. He bluntly told us to either buy the tubs or leave, which was very disappointing — especially in a place like Auroville where you expect a warmer, more welcoming vibe. There were kids with us, and they were really let down by the staff's behaviour.

It smells amazing in there, the green tea and other drinks are great, and the staff very competent and friendly. But honestly, it's the smell in there that I love the most. It smells like in a bakery in the German countryside back in the 80s or 90s, when they would still use all real ingredients, and none of that hyper processed shit.
