Visit this confectionary restaurant to have a meal if you feel hungry after gazing at Appararao gallerirs. Most guests of Gelateria Montecatini Terme say that tasty Italian gelato, chocolate custard and chocolate fudge are served here. Try delicious bitter. This place has great chocolate frappe, iced coffee or white coffee among its drinks.

The ice creams and milkshakes were not upto the mark.
The choice for pastries was very very limited. There was just 2 cakes.
I will not recommend this place for anyone.
The opening of GMT, which is Gelateria Montecatini Terme, claiming to serve the finest Italian Ice Cream in Chennai seemed to be good news. It is located at Nungambakkam, in the same campus as Sketch Cafe, near Taj Coromandel.
We kept missing visiting the place in the first week. So, after a lovely dinner nearby, we decided to hit the place and try its offerings.
Ambiance: It is a small joint but spacious and nice. There are seating near the ice cream counter itself and also a few tables at the other end.
So, like any leading ice cream joint, you can try the flavors, and the first flavor that attracted me for the Irish Cream, that contains alcohol. But it didn't impress me at all. Once by one none of the flavors I tried felt good. The only one which I loved was the Classic Chocolate. I even tried the Lovers Delight Chocolate, but that too wasn't great.
Classic Chocolate was damn good, creamy and tasty.
My friend too was not too happy with most flavors. Watermelon and Tropical were the only ones that seemed decent, so he went for a half and half potion with these two flavors.
The total cost came to only Rs 160. Damn reasonable I must say, especially when compared to some the premium Geleto and other leading ice cream parlors in town. They have a wide variety of flavors too.
There's coffee too and soon, they may introduce a few more desserts.
It is a popular ice cream store from Pondicherry and is already getting a lot of hype. I have heard mixed reviews within my friends, so each person should try the gelatos and decide. Definitely there would be some flavor you might like. Value for money for that flavor for sure.
