Just checked into the presidential suite and 2 executive suites with some friends. We had an issue with our previous hotel so made a last minute booking and payment via call with ITC . The reception staff were unable to find the payment confirmation even though I showed them the CCAvenue confirmation page and email. They called the room at 9:30pm to ask me to come down to the reception to show proof of payment. I asked them for an email address or WhatsApp number I could forward it to but instead they called me down in my pajamas and show them my credit card statement. This is after paying over 76,000 for the one night stay and checking in at 7pm. Nobody took us to our room, they just handed us the key cards, and only one card per room because they had ‘run out’. The reception staff was elderly and probably doesn’t know how to use the computer well as they kept taking images of my phone screen with an iPad. Either way, they were unapologetic about their behaviour and the inconvenience and I never expected this type of service and discrimination at an ITC hotel. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 2
