The area where Folk is located is surrounded with a lot of places which serve good North Indian cuisine. The place looked inviting and hence we thought of going there for Sunday dinner today. I had a very bad experience today and it was primarily due to the service by server named Parth. There were multiple interesting dishes and we thought if ordering one at a time, so when one dish came in and we requested Parth to serve the same he pointed out that it’s only for one. I don’t know what invited such a behaviour. And all the more no apology at all. The height of the issue is that even after pointing it out the senior manager came only later once we had settled the bill and almost had left and only after making us point out that they have charged ‘service charge’ which we paid but we had not liked the service. The manager said that he got to know about the same and apologised but what I do not understand is that if he got to know about the issues why did he not think that it mattered to discuss the issue with us before we had to point it out … at time of settling the bill after paying the service charge. Nevertheless can understand the place being almost empty on a Sunday evening. Service standards - customer service needs to improve a lot lot …
