A good Pizza place who serves traditional wood fire pizzas, these kind of good woodfire pizza places are a bit rare to find and this is one of those in Thakur Village, Kandivali East.

The ambience over here is decent with low lights and cleanliness is very well maintained. Hygiene is really well maintained.

The place is good for small groups of 4-6 as the dining area is not too big.

Staff over here is very friendly and service was also good.

We had,
1) P2C2 pizza:- The Pizza base was freshly prepared in front of us and it was loaded with fresh toppings and the touch of olive oil baked in wood fire oven gave the pizza a totally traditional flavour.

Overall Rating:- 4.7/5

PS:- Everyone must at least once visit this place and try the authentic pizza and we are sure that you guys will enjoy your pizza and won't regret the decision of coming here.

Flour Fire Pizzeria is located in Kandivali East, Mumbai, India. The Pizzeria only serves vegetarian food and some very delectable variations in vegetarian pizza. The eatery is a delightful little place tucked away in a cosy lane opposite a huge cricket stadium. This adds to the experience since it is much quieter compared to Pizza Hut in the same area which is bang on the main road of the locality. The signature Pizzas are jaw-dropping with great cheese and sauce combinations.The restaurant faces the open ground of the Cricket Stadium and the exterior itself is very unique and welcoming. There is a little chimney of the wood fired hearth that has wisps of smoke coming out of it and the exterior lighting is of yellowish hue. The panel is all glass but with pure wooden framework so it looks like a picture out of a book. When you enter you are greeted by wonderful hanging antique lighting fixtures and wooden furniture that is simple but very earthy. The lighting fixtures have a bronze metal finish so it adds to the overall ambience. What really stands out however is the wood fired oven in the far corner with its lovely chimney exhaust. There is a bar like counter and the music is just right, not too loud so one can have a comfortable conversation. So in short the interior design of this small eatery reflects some very fine aspects and attention to detail, for example, the wood-fired oven, the solid wood tables and chairs and mood lighting.The audio and visual experience is very warm and welcoming. The eatery has been started by a young entrepreneurial couple. When I asked them they said they wanted a unique and small place with great ambience that they themselves would love to coming to work in! What immediately appeals to you when you enter is the aroma of the Pizza and fresh bread. This is a signature feature of Flour Fire. When I first visited Flour Fire and tried their prominent New Yorker Pizza, I loved it! It was just too delicious and totally worth the money! Flour Fire doesn’t use Pizza Bread made by other Chefs, they make their own handcrafted Pizza Bread, fascinating isn’t it!? The mouth-watering Pizza is made in the wood-fired Oven and Hearth. The Pizzas come in two different sizes, regular and medium. The signature Pizza that reflects the character of the place is the ‘Art Lover’. This is a healthy Pizza with lots of exotic vegetables, just the right amount of cheese, mildly spiced but flavourful sauce and the freshly baked thin crust base. The Pizza just melts in the mouth and the taste stays and lingers on for some time after that as well. Even my father who considers Pizza as junk food loves the ‘Art Lover’. I however am in love with the simple but very appealing ‘New Yorker’ with Basil leaves. The Basil adds to the flavour in a very unique way! The service is absolutely magnificent, the staff is very kind-hearted, generous and warm. Flour Fire not only just serves Pizzas, but serves different types of Pasta and Italian Food as well! There are a range of juices and mocktails available as well. They do not serve alcohol. I haven’t tried the Pasta but I believe the vegetable Pasta is quite a rage.
