We had booked a table for two at 2:00 PM and reached the restaurant at 1:55 PM. Despite having a reservation, we were asked to wait because they had accommodated additional walk-in guests. We were finally offered a table at 2:45 PM — by which time we had already decided to leave and consider dining elsewhere. The delay despite a prior booking was quite disappointing.We ordered the Chounak Thali priced at ₹820. The portion was extremely underwhelming — just two small pieces of chounak fry, along with surmai curry, prawns masala, and sol curry. The thali did not include kishmoor or other standard accompaniments typically expected in such a meal. When we raised this with the server, we were told the items were “over,” and that the small portions were standard and “don’t make a difference.” The response felt dismissive and casual.The restaurant itself felt cramped and chaotic. The staff appeared overwhelmed, and basic service was lacking — I even had to get up and collect the menu myself.Overall, the experience felt overpriced for the quality, portion size, and service provided. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations.Plus there were cockroaches on floor
