Chicken Cutlet - Rs.70. Pork Momo - Rs.60. Chicken Clear Soup - Rs.50 Fast Food Centre, Laban, Shillong Fast Food $ 04.07.24 After work I was feeling hungry as the footlong from Grill Inn wasn't very substantial. Then I remembered @headovermeals1820 recommending me once a chow momo joint in Laban. I decided why not give it a try. So I made my way to Laban & parked the car the first spot I could find. I went searching for Fast Food Corner which is located on the 1st floor of a building opposite to Laban Presbyterian School. I wonder how I have missed it all these years since I've always eaten the Kulchas at the dairy below. Anyway I made my way up & the place is pretty open & simple. I had a look at the menu & everything looked pocket friendly. This place infact used to be a Street Food cart & has been in business since 2011. I decided on a Pork Momo. It came pretty fast & since it did not looked too big, I also ordered a Chicken Cutlet. Then to get it all down, I got chicken clear soup. The weather was also perfect for soups. The food did look appetizing. The Cutlet was proper in size & pretty good quality considering the price. I had it with mustard sauce. The pork momo was smaller than I expected & had a mix of ground pork & onions as filling. It was ok but I thought it needed more meat. The chicken clear soup was very plain. Infact I was too full to even finish it off. Overall can see why it's a very popular joint plus unbeatable prices. The cutlet was my pick from the three. Instagram ID - kari.on.eats.
