Absolutely Unacceptable Hygiene—Found a Cockroach in the Pasta Visited this restaurant in Pune last week for a brunch with friends and our kids, and we were utterly shocked and disgusted to find a dead cockroach in the pesto pasta served to us. This is not only appalling but also raises serious concerns about the kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards maintained here. We immediately called the manager, "Sohail," who was reluctant to acknowledge the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, he kept deflecting and looking around as if the cockroach came from somewhere else—a response that was both unprofessional and evasive. To make matters worse, despite such a serious lapse, the manager still brought us the bill, deducting only the price of the pasta and charging us ₹2400 for the rest of the meal. The issues didn’t end there: One of the green sauces served with the starters was completely inedible, and when we pointed it out, we were told, "It’s only for decoration; don’t eat "it"—shocking for a dish meant to be consumed. The overall hygiene of the restaurant was very poor—unclean surfaces, lack of upkeep, and a generally neglected environment. Extremely disappointed with this incident, especially when we had children with us... this incident left us deeply disturbed. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and the food inspecting committees. Until the restaurant addresses its hygiene and staff accountability issues, I would strongly advise others to stay away. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
