As the name says, if you are looking for a dash of spice and hint of sourness or tanginess, Hotel Erivum Puliyum is the right choice! Tucked in between Saravana Bhavan and another building in Marine Drive, this place gives you a silent ambience of a typical Kerala seashore household. The dishes that we had were ‘Prawns Roast’, ‘Naadan Kappa’, ‘Idiappam’, ‘Appam’, ‘Chicken Fry’, ‘Gobi Manchurian’ and ‘Chappathis’. To wash all this down, I had their Honey Grape juice as well, which gave a perfect end note to my meal. With the perfect “naadan” flavours bursting in my mouth, I just couldn’t get over the foodgasms I was going through. Without checking any courtesies, I just dug into the dishes with my hand and left a clean looking plate. This is a must visit place and I specially recommend their seafood dishes. I love the place as well as the people and cleanliness- a total 5 star for me.
