Edele Hotel is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Kozhikode. It’s a small restaurant, but the food is really delicious. Their pazhampori with beef is a must-try! Porotta with beef and upma with beef are also very tasty. Great place for a yummy and satisfying local breakfast! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Dropped by Edele Hotel on a weekday around 11 AM, and decided to try the much-talked-about combo of pazhampori and beef fry. I’ve always been skeptical about this pairing—but to my surprise, it absolutely worked. The pazhampori was fresh, crisp on the outside, and quite heavy, while the beef fry was tender, succulent, and perfectly spiced. Together, they made for a surprisingly satisfying mid-morning indulgence. However, a heads-up for early visitors: by 11:30 AM, no other snacks were available—only breakfast items. So if you’re planning a snack run, timing matters. Also tried their Boost and tea, which were quite mid Place is quite congested with very less seating so waiting time will vary Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Pazham Pori & Beef Fry
Had breakfast from Edele Hotel and it was such a delightful experience! Tried vellayappam, poricha pathiri, beef fry, and pazhampori — all packed with authentic Kerala flavours. Beef fry was served in good quantity and tasted good. Poricha pathiri was hot, crispy, and full of taste. Vellayappam was soft and fresh. And of course — pazhampori with beef is one of the best combos ever! Loved it. The place was neat and clean, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. It was a bit busy when I visited, so had to wait a little to get seating — but honestly, the food was worth the wait. If you’re looking for a proper, delicious Kerala-style breakfast, this spot is a must-visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
