Puccini Lala is not the same what is mentioned in old reviews. Currently, the place is run by two folks who have taken the property on lease from the owners. The cafe was not operational (which was one of the attractions for us when me and my wife booked this place). Sabin (one of the two who has leased) is a friendly host, and helped to make our stay comfortable in the mud cottages. The place has a nice vibe with the layout of the mud cottages, and lots of plants & trees. And the proximity to the cliff makes up for the lack of cafe in the premises to a certain extent. We did get a taste of the food (which the owners arranged on the night of new year, 31 dec 2021), that resonated with the reviews/photos we had read and seen. Overall the place is cozy for a couple nights of stay (though the rooms can get stuffy on hot and humid days with no AC).
