Was recommended the restaurant by a friend. The food was good, but the service was pathetic. 1) Had to ask for water to be served multiple times. No attention to a table. If water in the glass is over the stewards should fill. ‘That’s service’. We had to repeatedly ask for refills. SO WHY THE SERVICE CHARGE ???2) The food was planted on the table. We had requested for it to be served. At one instance despite asking the steward walked away. Service charge is not for bringing the food from the kitchen to the table. ITS TO SERVE.SO WHY THE SERVICE CHARGE ???3) stewards walked passed the table multiple times. No one checked for used plates of the main course dishes which were completed to be cleared. They just left it there till I asked for them to be cleared.SO WHY THE SERVICE CHARGE ???No attention to detail, service and a host of stewards running up and down and not assigned to a table to check status, take an update, make the necessary clearances. Fancy place, decent food, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT DESERVE TO PUT A MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE ! Should be removed .will be a good barometer of there services to check how many pay voluntarily. Stay focused on the customer whilst he’s on the table. Keep an eye for the small things !So I now await the standard reply !
