I went to Lair Bar & Lounge, Gurugram (Global Foyer) on the night of 13th September 2025 with friends. What was supposed to be a fun celebration turned into a nightmare. Post midnight, while taking out my purse to clear the bill, I realised that ₹80,000 cash was missing. Shocked, I immediately informed the staff and had to sit for almost 3 hours with their team checking for CCTV footage. Next day, the management themselves admitted that one of their staff members was caught on camera stealing. They assured me the money would be returned and even said, “Madam please police complaint mat kariye, badnaam ho jaayega place.” But after that – no refund, no proper response. Instead, they gave me wrong CCTV footage, kept delaying, and later shamelessly offered only ₹50,000. On top of that, they tried to make me sign a paper saying I won’t file a police complaint. Imagine a bar where the staff steals from customers under the cover of darkness and the management protects them. How unsafe is that, especially for women? I have issued them a legal notice and am in the process of filing a police complaint. Strong advice: Don’t go here – zero safety, zero trust. Service: 1
