Visited Dumpling Hood, Kangra, and tried the mushroom and onion dumplings. Unfortunately, the balance wasn’t quite right — the dumplings felt like 70% atta (whole wheat dough) and only 30% vegetable filling. The thick outer layer made them heavy, masking the flavour of the vegetables. I paid ₹177 for 8 pieces, which feels expensive — though I don’t mind paying more if the taste is worth it. I’d suggest adjusting the ratio to around 90% vegetable filling and 10% atta for a lighter texture and richer taste. The concept is good, but a tweak in recipe could make them excellent.
