It was around 3:30 PM and hunger pangs were taking over the senses. Only respite was good food. There were couple of age old trusted food outlets around that place but we were a bit late adding to our agony. Just when we were guided by the gentleman belonging to Hotel Chandravilas about this joint. We were skeptic but it being the nearest and to avoid anymore escalation to the situation we visited 101 Dosa Corner. The interiors were a welcome sight and made an immediate impact to our decision... now was the next part, food and the service. We ordered a masala (potato mix) dosa, butter sada (plain) dosa, chicken shawarma dosa, and my favorite Kallumakkai (green mussels) dosa. My family were pretty happy with the quick service (we being only customers at that hour) and the taste of 3 chutneys. Though the sambhar wasn't upto mark but no complaints. The Kallumakkai masala was spicy but super tasty. I had to order one more ghee roast to finish off the masala. Tea was also good and my kids enjoyed lime juice. Planning to make another visit sometime to try other delicacies listed in the menu. The Chefs hail from West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. The price I felt was little on the higehe side but I guess if they ought to maintain the facility, service and quality of food then they will need to keep it that way. Overall the experience was good. A pretty happy meal uplifted our fading mood. Whoever said good food causes good mood is true to very word. Do visit you would enjoy.
