After a long walk around Kedareshwar Mahadev Mandir, go to this restaurant and have a rest here. Clients say that they like the menu of Japanese cuisine at Donmai. Ordering nicely cooked salmon, japanese ramen and avocado sushi is what a number of guests advise. Enjoy tasty watermelon salads this place offers. Great matcha is a decent choice.

We had made a reservation at Donmai for 14th February, a few days in advance, and had even paid the required advance. Despite that, we were made to wait over an hour for our table, with no clear communication or ownership. The manager’s response was dismissive and rude, stating there was “nothing they could do.” The food was decent initially, until we found glass in our kinoko don (similar to hot pot). I had unfortunately already taken a bite before noticing and had ingested some. This was immediately brought to the server’s attention. What was most shocking was the complete lack of accountability. There was no sincere apology, no reassurance, no concern shown. When I asked what would happen if I had a reaction, I was told, “You can call the management.” That was the response. In hospitality, food and ambience matter, but problem-solving attitude matters more. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in my life! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
