The ambiance and traditional Rajasthani setup at Desert Boy’s Dhani were lovely, and the food tasted good overall. However, our experience could have been better. The service was a bit slow, and the portion of dal served with each plate was quite limited. When we requested a little more, we were told it would be charged extra, which was disappointing since dal is a key part of the meal. We had ordered 5 Dal Baati Churma plates but received only 2 papads, and even those were not full pieces as mentioned. It would be nice if the restaurant improved portion sizes and ensured consistency between what’s promised and what’s served. Overall, the food was tasty, but the service and quantity management could definitely be improved. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400
