This restaurant and Jagmandir Isla can be both really attractive for tourists. Indian food is good at this place. The Darikhana is to be recommended for good chicken tikka, soup and chicken biryani. Have a nice time here and share tasty gulab jamun and good ice cream with your friends. You will hardly forget delicious liqueur, wine or beer that you can taste. It might be cool to enjoy great cold coffee or good juice.
The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. Imagine a combination of great meals and gracious staff members, this is exactly what this spot provides you with. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. In accordance with the visitors' opinions, prices are low. As a number of reviewers say, the decor is homey. The cozy atmosphere makes a positive impression on people. But many clients who use Google didn't give this restaurant a high rating.

I have been with family to island after seeing the fort . The Resturant view is amazing food is horrible and charged very high not worth at all we order chicken tikka full of Red chilli powder same with mutton and prawns they have no idea how to cook but charge is very high not worth

Darikhana has a beautiful location, the staff’s behavior was impolite, rude, and partial. Guests were treated with indifference, and some received preferential service while others were ignored, leaving a poor impression despite the restaurant’s reputation.

I recently dined at the Darikhana Restaurant inside Jagmandir Palace and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. First, the location is incredibly inconvenient to reach, long long lines for tickets and then for boat entry also you have to walk the entire length of the city palace to reach the boat house. After a long and tedious journey, I arrived with high hopes, but they quickly faded.The ambiance at the Darikhana Restaurant inside Jagmandir Palace felt forced and pretentious, as if the restaurant was trying too hard to impress with its over-the-top decor. The menu was a jumble of ingredients that seemed more focused on sounding fancy than on actual flavor.To top it all off, several hours after dining, I fell seriously ill. It turns out I wasn’t the only one; I later learned through google reviews that multiple diners experienced severe food poisoning. This was not just a bad meal—it was a health hazard.Given the outrageous prices and the utter lack of quality or care in both food and service, I can't emphasize enough how unworthy this restaurant is of your time or money. Don’t go here ever if you value your health!!
