I recently visited Dakshin Tadka Pure Veg on Shiv Road in Moshi, and it turned out to be a good find for vegetarian food lovers like me. The place has a simple yet welcoming ambiance, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. Since I enjoy South Indian cuisine, I was excited to see a variety of dishes on their menu. I started with the Masala Dosa, which was crisp and flavorful, paired with a well-balanced sambar and coconut chutney. The Idlis were soft and fresh, just how they should be. Their Vada was crispy on the outside and soft inside, making it a great accompaniment with the sambar. While the South Indian dishes were definitely good, I also explored their North Indian options. The Paneer Butter Masala stood out with its creamy texture and rich flavor, and the Garlic Naan complemented it well. One thing I appreciated was the quick service. The staff was polite, and my food arrived within a reasonable time. The place was clean, and despite being moderately busy, it didn’t feel overcrowded. The prices were slightly on the higher side for a casual restaurant, but considering the food quality and portion size, it felt justified. Another plus is their variety—along with South and North Indian dishes, they also have some Indo-Chinese options, making it a versatile spot for different cravings. Overall, Dakshin Tadka Pure Veg is a solid choice if you're in the Moshi area and looking for a good vegetarian restaurant. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys South Indian food, though their North Indian offerings are worth trying too. I might come back to try their thali next time!
