We were a family of 3 who had visited Dakshin ,Sheraton Delhi for Onam sadhya.Firstly when I called up the no to make a reservation in the morningat around 11am today, the lady who picked up the call mentioned that it will open only by 12.30pm and I need to call at that time.When I called at around 12.30pm I was told that Dakshin is closed inthe afternoon and open only from 7pm and no onam sadhya for lunch.When I mentioned that it's mentioned in the Google about sadhya she asked me to give her my no and from the restaurant they would call me..As I was travelling from Faridabad I really felt disappointed with all the confusing answers from ITC. Upon reaching they said onam sadhya is available but then we had to wait for at least half an hour.Some of the dishes were not at all authentic kerala dishes like dal which was served with coriander leaves.No ghee was served with dal for sadhya.Inji puli dish also was not upto the mark with grated ginger which was not fried and tasting raw was used.one dish with yam erissery was salty and not upto the mark . Finally a paan was served for which I will give a rating of 1.Pls don't give such low quality items to end one's meal that too Onam sadhya. Overall sadhya was disappointing and didn't give the feel of onam sadhya but a regular thali meals with some extra dishes. I had a filter coffee which was served in a heavy silver glass .the silver absorbed all the heat and it was very difficult to hold the tumbler and sip from that which was so hot.I would suggest that a right cup or glass should be used to serve filter coffee. Overall a disappointing experience and onam sadhya not worth it at Dakshin,Sheraton Delhi and I will not recommend to my friends or colleagues. Staff at the restaurant and call centre need to improve upon their communication skills and be more courteous.
