Our review: 4.5 / 5:
Dakshin Culture Curry is located in Mahim, Mumbai. It might seem strange that this is not a restaurant by itself but in fact a part of Matunga's popular Goa Portuguesa but that does not deter any of its patrons. Deepa being a foodie & a master chef had experienced the variety of the unexplored south Indian food. After conducting an intensive research, they finally planned the Dakshin Culture Curry menu of Hip Hit Hot delicacies from the south into a single & interesting menu, by literally bringing the southern Indian peninsula of India to Mumbai. While the restaurant is known for its Goan fare, the 'Dakshin Culture Curry' is menu carefully curated by Chef Deepa Suhas Awchat. The exotic Dakshin Culture Curry menu is standardized & modified to suit the Mumbaikars palette. The changes are made by toning down the spice & oil levels, remaining in the same taste zones & by maintaining the Authenticity of the dish by Grand Master chef Deepa Awchat. Diners come here to indulge in their Prawn Gassi, Kerala Chicken Stew, Fish Moile and of course their hot Appams.
