We’d like to clarify a few things for transparency to others reading this.You visited our café from 11 AM to 9 PM and ordered only a Diet Coke for the entire day, and then soup after being reminded that there are work station rules. while expecting to use our air-conditioning, electricity, WiFi, and seating for nearly 10 hours. We also noticed you brought your own protein shake from outside—something most cafés do not allow—but we still accommodated you kindly without any extra charge.Like every other café with a workstation policy, we request laptop users to order at least ₹500 per hour or make equivalent purchases. This is not unreasonable—electricity, staff salaries, and the space you occupy all come at a cost. Imagine if every guest used the café this way: it would be impossible for us to sustain the business while providing good service to walk-in customers who are here to eat, drink, and enjoy.Starbucks or any other large chain charges ₹400–₹500 for a single coffee, and their cafés have the same principle—you pay for the space you use. If that works better for you, we genuinely encourage you to go where you feel most comfortable. But please understand, small independent cafés like ours cannot survive if guests expect to sit all day on a ₹100–₹200 bill.We always aim to balance hospitality with fairness. Yesterday itself, we went out of our way to be lenient with you, but continuing this pattern is simply not sustainable. It would have been fair if you posted this review if we charged you 500 for the 10 hours you sat but we didn’t. But maybe that’s what should have been done.
