I had my first-ever Japanese dining experience here, and it was absolutely worth it! My wife and I had a wonderful time enjoying both the food and the cozy ambiance. We ordered: * Yasai (Veg) Ramen * Fried Vegetable Gyoza (similar to momos, but with a crispy twist) * Avocado Maki (a delicious sushi roll) * Cold Japanese Matcha The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the ramen, gyoza, and avocado maki. The only thing that didn’t quite meet our expectations was the cold matcha. Total cost: ₹934 If you’re looking to explore Japanese cuisine for the first time or simply craving authentic Japanese flavors, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! Dropped into Cross Town Japan at HBR Layout, Bangalore yesterday evening, craving some proper Japanese flavors after hearing good buzz about it. The ambience was fantastic, cozy and authentic, like a little slice of Tokyo right here in Bangalore, with warm lighting and neat decor that set the mood perfectly. What I Ordered and the Food Went for the salmon and tuna combo , spot on! The fresh nigiri, maki, and sushi were beautifully made, with that melt-in-your-mouth texture and subtle flavors that instantly took me back to the Japan meals from my trip last year. The ramen bowl was equally solid, rich, comforting broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and generous toppings. Everything tasted so genuine, portions were just right, no complaints! Service and Ambiance Staff were super cheerful and attentive throughout. The highlight? They bid us goodbye with a hearty "Arigato Gozaimas", such a fun, welcoming touch that made us smile. Even on a busy weekend, service was smooth without any delays. Fantastic dining experience here! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, and gave us his special recommendation as well. We had the prawn tempura, a plate of salmon nigiri, the buff sukiyaki, the tonkotsu ramen and karaage shoyu ramen, and the chicken katsu curry for our mains (all shared among 5 of us, great serving size). For dessert, we shared the doriyaki, and my personal favourite: the matcha yuzu jelly with almond cream. The chef gave us a complimentary wasabi ice cream scoop, which was refreshing and incredibly unique. I highly recommend CrossTownJapan for an authentic japanese dining experience.
