We ordered 3 dishes. But unfortunately they were fully packed and we were running out of time. Was only able to get the Thupak and Tibetan Yak Butter Tea. The Thupak was awesome, very hearty and felt very warm. Best on a cold day. The Tibetan Yak Butter Tea was tea with salted yak butter. It was literally not our cup of tea. We later requested the restaurant and added sugar to it, so we could finish it. But that's not how it's supposed to be had. Wish we were informed about the salt at the time of ordering. We wish we had more time as every dish takes close to 20 or 30 mins to get served. Make sure you visit lesuirly to enjoy their cusine. The service was a bit slow. It took them 15 mins before they handed the menu. Later it took another 20 mins to take the order. We reached the restaurant around 16:15 and left by 18:00. We understand that the restaurant was fully packed and crowded. However we still wish the service was a little bit much faster. They were short-staffed, so the service eventually became very slow. The food was quite average considering the price. If you want to have a similar kind of cuisine, do visit Bamey’s (the old one). The thukpa was also not great but the atmosphere was too good . Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

I recently dined at Utse Kitchen and had a wonderful experience! The ambiance was serene and calming, while the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. We ordered the Tupka, Kathmandu Chilli Momos. The momos were outstanding - flavorful and perfectly cooked! However, the Tupka was somewhat disappointing. The noodles lacked spice, and the soup was just average.Despite this, Utse Kitchen is renowned for its non-veg dishes, and although they also serve delicious veg options, I'd recommend it more for its meat-based offerings.Overall, a great spot to try authentic Nepali cuisine in a peaceful setting!"
