Visited July 16, 2025 – day 13 in India This is another excellent recommendation by my friend Shakun. We are staying at Novotel in Juhu, so we enjoyed a leisurely walk on the beach to reach the restaurant. We were welcomed very graciously and seated by the hostess. Since we had walked on the beach and were all very sandy, my husband, my daughters (aged 5 and 7), and I went to the restroom to wash up. When we returned to our table, I was pleasantly surprised to find it set up with a kids’ menu featuring lots of activities, along with sets of crayons and a chef hat crown that both my girls promptly put on. This was such a refreshing change on our 13th day in India, as until now we hadn’t seen a kids menu specifically geared for children in any of the restaurants we’ve visited. It was definitely a highlight for me. We were kindly greeted by our servers Mukul and Manojit Roy, and their service throughout our meal was outstanding. They offered thoughtful recommendations, anticipated our needs, checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive, and treated our whole family with genuine warmth and respect. For dinner, both my daughters wanted popcorn chicken—actually their favorite back home—and they were thrilled to see it on the menu. One chose a vanilla milkshake and the other a chocolate milkshake. The popcorn chicken was a bit spicy for their mild palates—but they loved the milkshakes. My husband and I chose the Fish and Mixed Meats kebab platter. Mukul honestly informed us that the fish was unavailable, and substituted another chicken kebab, which we were completely fine with. We ordered the kebabs as served, thinking our girls might want to try them—and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The girls devoured the chicken reshmi kebab. It was so satisfying to see them enjoying something from the Indian menu, knowing we’ve found another safe and delicious option for them here in India. We also ordered Rawalpindi Gosht, extra spicy, along with roomali roti and rice to accompany our meal. My husband was delighted with the kebabs—every bite was melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender. The Rawalpindi Gosht was succulent and richly flavored; we absolutely loved it. Despite being full, Mukul suggested the baked motichoor rabri for dessert. It was absolutely delicious—the warm, layered sweetness with the motichoor bits and creamy rabri was the perfect end to our meal. We loved everything about this place. From the walk-in welcome to the thoughtful touches for our kids, the exceptional service by Mukul and Manojit, and the outstanding food, Copper Chimney Juhu made our evening truly memorable. We will definitely return. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
