We had been there last evening for high tea. The place and ambience is beautiful. Within an hour of ordering our coffee and tea, a manager from the staff walked up to us and asked us to take another seat as their regular customer wanted to sit where we were sitting. The table just next to us which had the same view was also vacant. However we were asked to move. Have not seen this happening anywhere till date and was not expected from JW Marriott. We were almost done and were about to leave so just took the other table to pay and left as we had gone there for a birthday celebration and did not want to create a scene and keep the rest of it memorable.

Went for dinner last night to lotus cafe for Mother’s Day. We were a group of 12 people and opted for a la carte. We are extremely disappointed for the kind of service by the staff. Our table was neglected and we had to remind the servers multiple times for even a basic refill of water. Coming to food we ordered so many dishes but all were served to us from the buffet directly. The servings were not even presentable. They were simply refilled from the buffet counters. Terrible taste and terrible service. You cannot ignore a la carte tables for buffet guests. Doubt I’d want to come here again
