Cannot fault this fantastic shack, at a quieter part of the beach in baga. We had originally aimed to go to a different shack every day but after visiting here on our second day, we were back each day for the remainder of our holiday. The main reason for our returning was our host Prashant. He was just fantastic and such a nice genuine person. He serves the BEST special cocktails, just tell him a flavour you like and he will sort you out. Not only that, we learned far too late In the holiday that Prashant cooks AMAZING food. Everything we tried on the menu was the best of what we had eaten in Goa. The Indian food and spaghetti dishes were out of this world. I didn't think shack food could be so good, but try it and you won't be disappointed! Prashant also has really decent local knowledge of Calangute and can recommend places to buy anything you might need. I was ill on one of my first days staying in Calangute and Prashant made me a honey and ginger hot drink to soothe my stomach. He was very kind when I felt unwell and was checking on me each day. We honestly feel as though we made a friend in Goa and truly hope we will meet again. Also, a very special mention to Lalita who always had a bucket of water for our feet ready when we arrived and did everything she could to make sure we had shade when we needed it. Try the manicure she gives and the massages, she is awesome! She also makes really lovely bracelets at very reasonable costs. Each Saturday, the local orphanage come and play at the beach. The local fruit lady Shabita comes and gives out fruit and it's so heart warming to see them happy and free. We donated a little towards the fruit for them and a couple of the children came to personally thank us. Honestly a highlight of our holiday. Overall a wonderful shack, reasonably priced and well worth the walk from Calangute where we were staying. Thank you Prashant and all at Copacabana Beach shack. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
