Cool Corner in V.V. Puram has been my go-to spot since childhood, and it continues to be one of the best places for South Indian food, especially their Masala Dosa, which, in my opinion, is the finest I’ve had. Served with two chutneys and a flavorful sagu, the dosa is consistently crispy and perfectly spiced, though the chutneys tend to range between spicy and extremely spicy. Apart from their exceptional dosas, they also offer a good variety of sandwiches and shakes, making it a great spot for both traditional and quick bites. One of the standout aspects of this place is its very quick service, ensuring that you get your food fresh and hot in no time. However, during peak hours, especially in the evenings or weekends, you might have to wait for about 5-10 minutes due to the high demand. The ambiance is simple yet nostalgic, adding to its charm, and the pricing is quite reasonable for the quality they offer. While almost everything here impresses, the only slight letdown is their coffee, which is quite average compared to the rest of their offerings. That being said, if you're in the area and craving a delicious Masala Dosa or a refreshing shake, Cool Corner is definitely worth a visit!
