I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bhattara Bhojana, and it was a truly authentic experience. I opted for the regular meal, which is served on a banana leaf in the traditional style, making the whole experience feel even more special. The restaurant offers a selection of Uttara Kannada-style dishes, bringing a delightful taste of the region to your plate. The flavors are incredibly authentic, with each dish packed with rich, well-balanced spices. My personal favorites were the Thambuli and Rasam. Both dishes were perfectly cooked — the Thambuli was refreshingly cool with a subtle blend of flavors, while the Rasam had a satisfying balance of tanginess and spice. Both were thoroughly satisfying and complemented the rest of the meal perfectly. If you're looking for an authentic, traditional meal with bold flavors, Bhattara Bhojana is definitely worth a visit.
