The only dish which was good was the Butter Chicken which really lived up to its name - buttery, smoky and full of flavour! However, the rest of the dishes were not good at all. The Panner Makhani was watery and the flavours were not right. Worst of all was the Subz (Veg) Biryani, which was not biryani at all. No flavour of biryani and was made from ordinary rice.

We have been living in Pune for last 12 years but used to eagerly wait for our visits to our second home in Delhi, just to enjoy the food. After a long long time we are now able to get the same taste as Delhi restaurants in Pune thru Connaught Kitchen. We so much like the food that it’s already our second order in a weeks time! If you are hunting for authentic North Indian food head straight to Connaught Kitchen without waiting anymore. Persoal favourites - Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Champaran Mutton Curry and not to forget their Naan and Laccha Paranthas Congratulations to the entire Connaught Kitchen team for their efforts!!
